Almost a year later, my custom “Hotaru” plate came in (yep, that’s the bureaucracy of the Indiana BMV for ya). Thanks to Bine for the name! Of course, one of my co-workers came in this morning and said “Hot are you?” She thought perhaps it was a gift. Oh well. Maybe I’ll get a bumper sticker that says “It means firefly” or something.

Okay. I cracked up. It’s like a zen license plate — or a rhetorical question.
LOVE IT.

Jason, it is good to read that you are trying to move on. I wish you luck and happiness.
I was Anna’s nurse, at the clinic, and for some reason I just started thinking about her.
I thought I would look up your web site and see how you are doing. You and the children!
Good luck to you and take care.

gee, some people would already have gotten a new car in that time! but great that the plates are there, i had almost forgotten about hotaru.
hot, are you? i would never have thought of that similarity. but then you would have 2 B american 2 think of this.
and i love to see the fsm sign on your car.
i meant to tell you, someone googled “anna dufair a few good memories” and ended up on my blog. no idea how or why, but sometimes search engines seem to have strange lives of their own.
sending you hugs. and give hotaru a little pat from me.

TOO COOL! I had to go back and read about the name, and the car, as somehow I missed all that! I laughed at the sm on the car, too!
