Alyssa was due in 3 weeks and I didn't want to be out of town. This one is shaping up to be a nice combination of people - not just the jocks and cheerleaders. And with 20 years of water under the bridge, I'd like to think that there's just not that much difference between the jocks and me. Maybe I'm naive. Eden - those glasses were pitiful, weren't they? (snicker) Reunions. I went to my ten year; the jocks were there, the cheerleaders were there (because they never left). I looked around the room and said, "Where are all the smart people?" It looked like an invitation only party for everyone who was popular in high school. It was weird. In fact, my two best friends never even got a notice of the event and their parents were still in town living in the same house they grew up in at the time. Not like they couldn't be found, you know? Anyway I skipped my twenty year because I decided I didn't really want to see any of those people again. I have an annual reunion in September with my high school friends.
