“Me Upon My Pony on My Boat”
-Lyle Lovett
We took a down day and played around the resort. Weather was absolutely gorgeous once the rain cleared in the early afternoon. Highlights:
- Swimming! The pool was warm and the waterslide was fast and swirly
- The hobby horse race at the restaurant at Saratoga Springs. They had the kids racing around the tables. The near-collision with the server and her tray full of drinks was hilarious
- The un-birthday party for the kids. Hands-free whipped cream eating, rice krispie treat decorating, soda, and other sugary fun
- Tooling around the lagoon on the little whaler boat I rented. Great day to be out with the two older kids while Emma napped
Magic Kingdom tomorrow, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party after hours. Being here is getting easier. Downright fun sometimes.

Wow, it looks like you guys are having a great time! I remember my trip to EuroDisney, the genie from Aladdin seemed to be everywhere… I thought he was stalking us!

Ooh. EuroDisney. How was it? I’m thinking we may go to Paris Disney at some point. Is that the same? Our timeshare thing (DVC) lets us go to lots of places. I may get Disneyed out after too many years and look forward to checking out bike tours, rafting trips, and even safaris.
BTW, how did you find me? Flickr? I love looking at random flickr photos. Except I get pretty depressed since my photography is pretty pedestrian, even when I’m trying for it not to be.

EuroDisney is the same as Paris Disney, its pretty good there. I’ve never been to the american ones (or to any other theme parks) but it seemed massive! That timeshare thing sounds pretty cool, wish I could afford to do something like that!
I’m not quite sure how I cam across your site… It was a while ago, but I didn’t comment before. Its an interesting read, and very heartfelt. I hope you don’t mind me visiting :o)

EuroDisney sounds fun. I would be worried that I couldn’t speak French, though and would end up dazed and confused. I do have a close friend that is fluent in French. She would be fun to bring.
The timeshare is a blessing. Anna and I cashed in some of our retirement to get it. Easy to suggest cashing in your retirement when you have a terminal illness
Thanks for continuing to stop by, Amy. I’m enjoying your photos on Flickr.

I’m enjoying your photos too
